Fisher-Price: Little People Playtime Pals Review

Fisher Price Little People toys are great for imaginative play. Nice, sturdy, easy to clean, colorful pieces. This set is a nice addition to or start to any little girl's Little People collection.
This toy is so cute. Our daughter plays with it every day. She has'nt got the concept of putting the people in the swing yet but it's a good first little people set and resonably priced. the only flaw we have had with it is that the doors come off the house easily, so we have to keep reataching them. overall... Great toy for imaginative play.

Disney Princess Bath Beauty Belle Doll Review

I bought this Belle doll to go along with the Sleeping Beauty bath doll that I got during one of Amazon's Christmas sales. My daughter loves all things princess, so she loves both of them and has spent some extended sessions in the bathtub with them. They seem to be well suited for the water.



I only have a few nit picky things about the dolls and Belle in particular. First, the color change skirt is only color change in the front. The back remains the original color. Of course, a four year old doesn't care. I'm also not crazy about the orange on Belle's clothing when it's not in warm water (it's definitely orange rather than the red it appears in one of the pictures). My daughter couldn't care less. I like that the shoes are permanently attached, but I'm worried that the crowns may get lost. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase and am looking for the remaining doll, Ariel, to go to on sale.

I bought this doll to help potty train my 2.5yr old daughter. She was interested in it for about a day and then over it so I can't say it was very useful as a training tool. Not the dolls fault certainly. The doll is cute and durable enough, but it is rather small and wearing a onesie that has to be completely removed for her to pee. Not the best design for teaching a toddler how to pull down their pants and underwear. A better design would have been a separate top and bottom with undies to demonstrate how to undress for the potty. Also, the doll looks like a baby and not a toddler which was a bit confusing to my daughter. Its hard to get water in the water bottle, not the biggest deal, but a hasaal non-the-less. She already has a Baby Alive (the expensive one that requires batteries, food, diapers, etc) so I was skeptical when I saw a bunch of new Baby Alive dolls on the market. I bought this doll to assist in potty training my boy.
Compared to what I found available this doll is the most beautiful and highest quality materials. Paul is uncircumcised anatomically correct with eyes that open & close and fine attention to detail, folds in the skin, belly button etc... He is a great learning tool to teach body parts but not so great to teach a boy about peeing. I followed the instructions and I could not get Paul to pee in his potty the water seems to leak out of his neck. Based on price and effectivness as a potty training tool I can not reccomend Paul for potty training purposes. I have found that a cheaper Fisher Price doll that is not anatomically acurate is a better tool for potty training. I needed pee accuracy more than anatomic accuracy.

I have contacted the manufacturer with no luck in getting a strap for it even though a strap is featured on the photo of the carrier on the box it comes in. Only the lower legs and feet and lower arms and hands are vinyl, so if you intend to put this doll in other outfits, they must be long sleeved and long pants if you don't want the soft stuffed body to show.
