I bought this babydoll for my 18 month old. I had been looking for a sweet baby doll for her that was just a classic baby doll, no sounds or movements, but one she had to use her imagination. This doll is perfect for just that! The day it arrived my husband and I gave the doll box to her ( very sweet packaging and tied with ribbon instead of plastic cords) and let her open it, she immediately said "baby!" and gave it kisses and wanted to pull it out and hug the baby doll. She held it tight and immediately took it to nap time with her. It has a very sweet face, reminds me of the vintage porcelain baby dolls. And it is a nice small size for a young toddler. Also it is soft and slightly weighted so you can sit it up and have a tea party or in a doll stroller. The construction seems really good. I don't worry about the head popping off or it falling apart.
