I got this for my 8 yr. old and I'm afraid the hair has turned into a giant shower puff: no longer straight but fuzzy and balled up. It could be the hair washes she gives it. I did not know about the baby oil so I will try that and see if it helps. I bought this doll at Target. The American Girl clothes fit this doll perfectly.
