I bought this for my three year old daughter three days ago and she has played with it non-stop. She has a very active imagination and this toy allows her to recreate a story without too many restrictions. Yes, the pieces are small and fairly easy to lose. The paper on the magnets is already showing wear (although that is partly due to Cinderella "scrubbing" the floor).
