This is a very nice, substantial doll. It has a good weight to it, and I really like its facial features. Its a little too big for my 2 1/2 year old daughter, but I know she will enjoy it when she gets bigger. The doll has a soft, cloth, stuffed torso, legs and arms. Only the lower legs and feet and lower arms and hands are vinyl, so if you intend to put this doll in other outfits, they must be long sleeved and long pants if you don't want the soft stuffed body to show. Also the eyes don't open and close. I expected a doll in this price range to have eyes that open and close. I purchased the doll because I was looking for a realisticly large baby doll, in retrospect, I think I should have purchased one of the all vinyl Berenguer dolls for a fourth of the price of this doll.
